| I wrote this poem for my brother because he needed a poem for his English class. |
| Have you ever looked into A homeless man's eyes? And seen the pain Caused by years of torture? And the fear Of death that awaits him Around every corner? Have you seen the lonliness That burns in his eyes Knowing that he's all alone In this vast world? The lack of hope continues to grow With each passing day And thickens the dark cloud Hovering just above his head Have you ever wondered What he might be thinking Or how wise he may really be? Did you even stop to care? |
