Only about half of Mongania's military lives full time at the stronghold. Most prefer to live their own lives and gather when fighting is nessary. But for those who do live here all the time, life isn't hard. They are given a place to live and meals to eat for the service Soldiers provide. And a small salary to keep them employeed. The stronghold is capable of holding about 500 people comfortably. If it became nessary, the stronghold could house 3000 troops for an extended period of time.
When buildings in the stronghold include a Cafeteria, Laboratory, Horse Stables, Greenrider Quarters, Infantry Quarters, and Dragonrider Quarters. All the buildings holding people are 5 stories high with 12 foot ceilings.These are some of the tallest building on Mongania made from gray stones. The battlements in the middle is a giant plaza used for many things. But most of the time the Soldiers go there to practice weapons. Since their quarters are actually very small. Only consisting of one room and a bath chamber off the the side.
Dragonrider Buildings: These buildings are round with 3 quarters and a central room in which the soldiers' dragons reside. There is a door on one part of the wall to let the dragons in. On some hot days the door is left open to allow air to circulate better in the buildings.
Infantry and Greenrider Buildings: The building has 10 quarters on each floor and in return each building holds 50 people. There are stairs on one side to allow access to the floors.
