| Scouting Report: Six Damotri scouts were sent, five returned. Two died several days later of fume inhalation and severe burns. A rough map has been constructed of their descriptions. Volcanoes are continuously forming and erupting. Toxic fumes are emitted from the volcanoes paralize and kill within days. One scout thought she saw two small dragonlike creatures in the distance, but they disappeared when she reached the area. The approximete location is labeled on the map. A boiling sea/large body of water is located appox. ten miles to the east of the portal. The farther North you travel the hotter it becomes. Also the Northern areas appear to be in the most turmoil, many more volcanoes erupt in that direction than any of the other two combined. The mission will be conducted mainly to the Southwest for the sake of safety. The north will be avoided on this mission. Fire storms may appear on the horizon, avoid these as well. Below is a drawing based on the Damotri description of one such storm, from which the Damorti barely escaped. The drawing shows what the Damotri saw as the storm appoached. |

| Day 1 2:00 PM- Arrival at the Ancient Spring 2:05 PM- Enter Fire Planet, anyone not on time will be thrown off the mission. 2:05-2:20 PM- Basic exploration, two teams, one inspects cliffs for possible campsite, other explores area around portal. 2:21 PM- Return 2:10-2:30 PM- Medic Center Examination Day 2 1:00 PM- Arrival at the Ancient Spring 1:05 PM- Enter Fire Planet 1:05-1:35 PM- exploration, two teams, began building campsite if cliffs will work, other explores area around cliffs. 1:36 PM- Return 1:40-2:20 PM- Medic Center Examination Day 3 1:00 PM- Arrival at Ancient Springs 1:05 PM- Enter Fire Planet 1:05-2:05 PM- exploration and construction, continue building campsite, began exploring in all directions, only two miles to the North. 2:06 PM- Return 2:10-2:40 PM- Medic Center Examination Day 4 1:00 PM- Arrival at Ancient Springs 1:05 PM- Enter Fire Planet 1:05-3:05 PM- began material transfer to Campsite, explore in all directions except North 3:06 PM- Return 3:10-4:00 PM- Medic Center Examination Day 5 9:00 AM- Arrival at Ancient Springs 9:05 AM- Transfer all materials to Fire Planet and Enter 9:05-10:05 AM- Set up Camp 10:05 AM- 6:00 PM- Exploration of possible Dragon Location 6:01 PM- Return 6:05- Medical Examination 7:00- Return to Fire Planet |
