FIVE-A-SIDE RULES

SYSTEM:
  1) There will be two groups of three teams. Each team will play the other teams in their group twice.
  2) Each game will last EIGHT minutes.
  3) A win is worth THREE points, a draw ONE point, a defeat NO points.
  4) If two teams are level on points, we decide positions according to:
         1st)   Goal difference.
         2nd)  Goals scored.
         3rd)   Penalty shootout.
  5) The winner of each group will play the runner-up of the other group in the Semi-Finals.  Each Semi-Final will last TEN minutes.
  6) The winners of the Semi-Finals will meet in the Grand Final.  The Grand Final will be played over TWO HALVES OF EIGHT MINUTES EACH.
  7) If the Grand Final or Semi-Finals end in a draw, there will be a penalty shoot-out.

IMPORTANT RULES:
  1) The goalkeeper may not leave the penalty area (the three-point arc) or handle the ball outside the area.  If this happens, a free-kick will be awarded to the attacking team.
  2) If the ball goes over the green dotted side-line, the other team will restart the game with a kick in.
  3) If the attacking team plays the ball over the goal-line, the goalkeeper gets possession.
  4) If the defending team plays the ball over the goal-line, the attacking team will take a corner.
  5) All free kicks are direct.  The opposing players must stand three metres from the kicker.  Kick-offs, kick-ins and corner kicks are not direct.
  6) Any foul inside the penalty area will be punished with a penalty kick.
  7) Teams may substitute players at any time; however, the player going off must leave the pitch before the replacement comes on.  If this does not happen, the referee may decide to punish the team with a free-kick where the player entered the pitch.
