The Socceroos crashed to a 3-1 defeat against Denmark in a friendly international on Wednesday morning (Australian time).  The Aussies were 3-0 down at half-time, although they did have two goals disallowed.  Brett Emerton's late free-kick restored some pride for the injury-hit Socceroos in a better second-half performance, but they will have to improve if they are to do well in the Asian Cup this year.

One more piece of Socceroos news:  Australia are set to play South-American giants Argentina in June.  The friendly clash will take place at the MCG in Melbourne and will serve as a warm-up for the Asian Cup campaign.
