In front of over 47,000 fans at the Telstra Dome, Melbourne Victory defeated Adelaide United 2-1 to move into (and host) the Grand Final.  After falling behind early, Victory fought back with Danny Allsop's left-foot strike, but James Robinson's winner only came in injury time.

In the Minor Semi-Final, Newcastle beat Sydney 2-0 to eliminate the champions 3-2 on aggregate.  The Jets now face United in Adelaide next week in the Preliminary Final.
