The Good Thief

Plot:An aging thief is about to throw the dice and make one last gamble on the casino heist of his lifetime.
For once, Tcheky Karyo plays the good cop Roger, although he rides the fence between enforcing the law and breaking the law. His closeness with main character Bob Montana (Nolte) keeps him from putting the crook away, but he can only turn his head so long before he will be forced to put the professional thief behind bars for good. With the new heist Bob is cooking up, Roger fears more and more that he may have to book his old friend at last, but as the plan to pull off the job begins to formulate, both Roger and Bob get the advantage, and what they want. Bob walks free and Roger can walk away with a clear conscience.
