Bad Boys

Starring: Will Smith, Martin Lawrence, Tea Leoni, Tcheky Karyo, Joe Pantoliano, and Lisa Boyle.
Running Time: 119 minutes.
Rating: R; For frequent strong language, death situation, violence, and drug use.
Plot:Marcus Burnett (Lawrence) is a happily married family man. Mike Lowrey (Smith) is a smooth-talking bachelor. Both are cops in the narcotics division of the Miami police department. When $100 million dollars worth of seized heroin is stolen from their police station, the mismatched duo are forced to switch identities to placate the only witness (Leoni) who can lead them to the drug lord responsible and save their jobs before the FBI closes them down.

Karyo plays the bad guy once more, and a brilliant performance, if you're into 5 minute dialogue sequences and a 30 second on foot/car chase. Karyo's character, all though well played, is underrated. He hardly has the screen for more than 10 minutes at a maximum. I have suspicions that Karyo's character, although evil, is suicidal as well as he expresses disappointment when Leoni's character attempts to murder him, but is stopped at the last moment. I don't know why his character has such a disregard for his own life. No information on Fouchet (Karyo's character) is given.
