Preview
From the Richmond Times-Dispatch, March 19, 2002
Pre-season region rank: No. 8
Monacan returns 10 starters, but the Chiefs' attack revolves around one player -- Kelsie Bradberry. If Bradberry, last year's leading scorer with 13 goals, can put her stamp on games, the Chiefs have a chance to do well in what is shaping to be the region's best district.

Notes & Achievements
*5/14: Junior Forward Shannon Lowe named Times-Dispatch Player of the Week after scoring twice in a Dominion District victory over James River and twice more in a nondistrict victory over Thomas Dale in a matchup of teams ranked in the top 10. Lowe, with eight goals, is the Chiefs' leading scorer.
