Until now, I haven't included my children in this website of mine. My reasoning may not be too understood -- by you, and perhaps, by me.
(My attempt to explain)
A large part of me knows once you become a parent, you still have a Self to look after and to nurture, just as you would your child. I would in no way imply the priority order... it simply comes down to balancing all your loves and making equal time for everything meaning a great deal to you. This may sound impossible, and you'd be right in thinking it's a challenge above all challenges...
This I have not yet mastered, not many actually do. When creating this site, I wanted to stay away from things relating to my other 'priorities'. My vision in mind was to have a playground (Mona-style). By this I mean having a place of freedom -- where grass stains on the knees aren't soiled laundry, but a mark of independance and fumbles and triumphs.
Hence the reason I changed my mind and finally have a place in this site for my kids. If you look on the left of the screen, you'll see me sitting with my 'grass stains'... |
