AJ�s mouth hung open, �you think we�re going out?!� �Well, it�s a possibility.� Howie said. "She was just telling me to stop being so quiet." Said AJ. Howie said, "oh. So, why were you being so quiet anyway?" AJ just smiled and didn't say anything.
AJ was still smiling as he drove. Both Kevin and Howie could tell something was up so they asked, "AJ why are you smiling like that?" He still didn�t answer. He just turned on the radio. Nothing good was playing so he got one of his CDs out. He stuck it in and turned it up. Just then Kevin and Howie knew what it was. So they turned down the music." You like her don�t you?" Asked Howie. AJ almost went off the road at the question. "Well� Kinda" AJ replied sheepishly.
"So that�s why you were quiet during dinner even when Alexia told you not to be.� Kevin replied. � Maybe� Can you guys keep a secret?� AJ asked his friends. Howie and Kevin nodded. �Well, I like her, I mean I like her a lot." AJ confessed. "We kinda figured that AJ." Said Kevin. "How? When?" AJ asked. "Before we got to the club when you had that silly smile on your face" Replied Howie. AJ just smiled again and said, "so, did you just want me to admit it?� "Yeah." Howie confessed and sat there smiling big.
"I don�t believe this." AJ shook his head. Howie and Kevin just laughed at him. He started to laugh too. Howie was the first to recover and finally said, "wasn't that the exit back there?" "Oops, got to carried away there. We�re gonna have to turn back, but where?" AJ asked. They finally found a place to turn and started to sing along with AJ's Brian McKnight CD. They got to Howie's house first. "See ya guys later.� Called Howie.
Then they were on the way to Kevin's house. "You like here a lot don't you Bone?" Asked Kevin. AJ got that silly smile on his face again and said, "you know what. I think I'm falling in love with her, but I don't think she feels the same though. Um� Kev, could you talk to her and see if she likes me. That way I know it�s ok to ask her out. I don�t exactly want to make a fool of myself if she shoots me down you know." "Ok, I�ll ask her, but you owe me one." Kevin replied. "Thanks a bunch. But could you like ask her in the next couple of days for me please." "I guess I could, but you�ll owe me big time Bone." Said Kevin. They finally got to Kevin's and said their byes to each other then AJ went home. He took a shower and went to bed.
