his luggage 'cause he was going with the plane in one hour. But he knew
he
had to go do something first. He had to talk to Nick. When he was outside the
door
he heard something from inside that sounded like someone playing
Nintendo.
He smiled to himslef and remembered all the nights Nick and him used to
stay
up and play.
" I hope somebody in the Funky Boys likes to play", he thought. And I
hope
Nick is gonna find another Nintendo partner when I'm gone."
Knock, knock
Hi Nick! Nick smiled to him.
- Hey Rok! I just wanted to say goodbye.
- Yea goodbye. We might see eachother sometime. Who knows? Maybe at
the awards.
- Yeah Nick. Look, I'm gonna miss ya as h*ll, and I don't know whether
I'm
doing the right thing or not.
- Well Brian, Nick said. We gonna miss you too, but you have made your decision. I am gonna dedicate the new album to you, and...
- Damn, the new album. I totally forgot. I was so excited about it.
- Yeah I know. I guess Howie will take your parts now.
- Yeah.
- So... have you talked to your new band mates yet?
- No, I'm gonna meet them today.
- You must be very excited.
- Umm.. yeah.. a bit. It's kinda scary too, just thinking about it
man. I
mean, what if I don't fit in at all?
- I'm sure it will be ok, Nick said comfortingly.
- Let's hope so...
- So, I guess this is goodbye then, for a long friendship.
- Well, I don't know really. I don't wanna lose contact with you
and the
guys, Brian said.
- Yeah, we'll have to call eachother.
- Yeah.
Brian hugged Nick and whispered goodbye and left the room, and the
Backstreet life behind him. He was going to a whole new life.
~3 months later, at Nick Carter's house~
The Backstreet Boys were at Nick's house and watched some TV. They were
home after the
long tour. When Brian left nothing was the same like before. Before,
Brian was
the
only one Nick spent time with. Now he had started to be with the whole
group
more, and he was starting to know new people.
- Kev, turn over to MTV, I wanna see Brian's new video.
- Yeah sure bud. Now we'll see if he did the right choice.
The V.J. said:
- And now, something that teenage girls all over the world have been
waiting
for, the new group the Funky Boys, with ex-Backstreet Boy; Brian
Littrell are gonna show their new video. Enjoy!
A group of 5 guys started dancing. When Nick saw Brian,
he had tears
in
his eyes. It was a pretty good song, but nothing that Brian couldn't
have
done with the Backstreet Boys.
After the video, Howie said:
- So guys, what didja think?
