This story is about a girl named Diana who is an orphan. She is put threw many foster homes, but she continues to run away into the woods. One day she is brought back to the city for a good reason. A family wants to adopt her. Her new family are the Reeds, which consits of Mr. and Mrs. Reed and her new brother Thomas. A Week or so after moving in with her new family she learns that one of Thomas's friends is William Windsor. She hates him form the start, she knows part of his families past and his present. Thing is that Diana is part of what William is doing in the forest and she wants him to stop. But there's no why for her to tell him the real reason she wants him to stop.
