Chapter 2
When Aunt Sara arrived at the Windsor castle later that week, the royal family held a private dinner party for her birthday. Just after they had finished eating William and Harry came into the room with a large package.
Oh, my. Whats this? Aunt Sara asked when they came up to her. Its your birthday present Aunt Sara. We hope you like it. Harry explained handing it to her. Aunt Sara took it from him and began to open it. When she discovered the painting she put her hand up to her mouth and covered a gasp.
Its beautiful boys. Were on Earth did you find it? She asked curiously. Father and I found it at the Art gallery in town. It has a story to it and everything Aunt Sara. William told her. Thank you boys, its a wonderful gift. She replied. Ill have someone put it up in the hall, so when you leave it wont be wrecked. Charles declared. Yes, thats a good idea. Aunt Sara agreed.
The painting was hung up in the hallway that night and when it was time for bed William and Harry walked by it on the way to their rooms. William paid it no attention and continued to walk, but as Harry passed it he glanced at the painting and jumped back in surprise.
William! Come look! Harry cried. What is it Harry? Asked William. The girl in the pictures eyes moved. Like she was watching us! Which girl? He asked his brother. The red head. Harry replied. Harry, you watch too much TV. William laughed as he shook his head.
William entered his room and Harry stared at the painting as he walked backwards to his. When he reached his room, he quickly sprung the door open and scrambled in, almost slamming the door shut. The whole time both girls watched the boys retreat to their bedrooms. When they had left they both let out a sigh of sorrow.
