| Chapter 1 |
| Prince William and his father were browsing the aisles of the art gallery on a usual rainy afternoon. Williams Aunt Sara was coming to visit for her birthday and they were searching for a present to give her. She loved things that were ancient and had a story, especially ones with a mystery, behind it. The only thing he and Harry could come up with was a painting. Thats why he was in the Gallery now. The manager of the gallery was showing them many different paintings. But none they were showed had a mystery to it that is until the last. It was an old painting of two girls. One was standing with her dark red hair cascading down in curls. She had brown eyes and wore a black dress that exaggerated her pale skin. The other was rosy cheeked, with straight golden blond hair going past her shoulders. She wore an emerald green dress and a black veil that made her gray eyes stand out. This piece is from the mid 17th Century. It is an oil based painting with exquisite workmanship. And it is to believe that the ladies in the painting were once courtiers in France of 1667. Their names were Pamela Ganon and Margaret Pierre. (Sounds like margarita the alcoholic drink without the a). Its also said that they were once the most accepted of courtiers and were fancied by the Duchesss sons Andrew and David. But when they rejected Andrew and Davids proposals of marriage they were cursed into the painting for all eternity by the Duchess herself. Now no one knows how the curse is to be broken or if it is even true. But it is a wonderful masterpiece by an unknown painter. The manager explained. William and Charles looked at each other. William nodded and turned to the manager. Well take it. Could you please gift rap it as well? Absolutely Prince William, Prince Charles. The manager nodded to Charles as he left with the painting. Nice pick son. Im sure Aunt Sara will love it. Charles said as they walked to the counter. Yeah, the story with it was very interesting. Shes probably going to spend her stay at the historical society trying to find out as much as she can on this picture. William chuckled. |
