The Results..

I recently bought a liquid fertilizer which had a suggestion to soak the seeds over night in the watered down fertilizer before planting. For both groups I used the same types of seeds ( ; Pine, Jacaranda, Red ironbark, Swamp oak, Cypress, and plane trees), the same soil type and kept them in the same conditions. The FIRST group which I planted without first soaking, has to date, not had any shoots. The Second group has had only one shoot as yet- a pine. Therefore, I have not yet a strong conclusion but personally feel that the soaking has helped.

For my latest seeds I first soaked them.

I will report on anything new that I learn.
