"Queensland small leafed fig"

-possibly Ficus platypoda

This Bonsai I was given by two of my close friends (Sokhan and Dale) for my 21st birthday. It is a grouping of three trees. The label it came with had simply "Queensland small leafed fig", so I believe that it could be the Morton bay small leafed fig or  Ficus platypoda.
It is also Bonsai I've used for my icon and in the silver of the heading bar above. Soon, this tree will be ready for re-potting, but as I do not feel that I have learnt enough yet to work with an older tree, I may look into getting it professionally done this time. I will keep you informed.

This plant has been great to work with so far. I have had much luck in caring and shaping this tree. I have read that Ficus are a favorite for both their tolerance to Bonsai work and the natural beauty of the tree. I am learning about how great the Ficus really is.
