Tristania
conferta
13/12/01
Today, I do not have any seedlings. I lost them all to
difficulties with the pots etc. I hope to get some more up and running
soon as I have planted a number of seeds.

I have now gained this great picture showing the amazing deep green,
broad leaves of the Tristania conferta. On closer observations
recently, I've noticed that this tree does sometimes appear to have an
external root system similar to that of some figs. I may in the future,
try to Bonsai this tree to some of the exposed root styles.
10th of July 2001
I collected the seed for this tree in Autumn and planted them early
April. By the 19th of April, I had two tiny seedlings. Today I have over
ten and have pretty much just left them to themselves. Soon I expect, as
the temperature begins to rise, the seedlings will rapidly grow from the
less then 2cm high they reached and then stopped at.
Soon, I hope to add photos of the full tree, seed pods and my own
seedlings to this page.......Just a lot of work getting this place up as
yet!
Soon, this page, as well as all the others, will have information about
the tree to give people the general to help them choose which plant they
would like to work with.
