Believe it or not the lolita fashion actually has a set of rules on how to act like a lolita! -eyesight-

-the way you walk/posture-

When speaking, speak slowly and politely, try not to use abbreviated words and most important be elegant and do not be rude.

(I have left out a few things because they didn't really make sense in the broader sense so if you want to what they are just click here.)
Also if you want to turn the music off, just click on the gray pause button at the bottom of the page...okay?

(But I think that these rules aren't completely solid and shouldn't be treated like the ten commandments or anything be cause you still need to be yourself but just take heed to a few of them and it should be fine!)
Also a thankyou to Benjipan from whom I borrowed this (Benjipan borrowed this from PierraxRyuka so thankyou to her/him as well!)
Keep looking forward. Looking at something faraway will help your posture too.
Smile! Smile! You always have to have some margin for yourself to breathe. If you have an angry face on all the time, people won't approach you and will think of you in a negative way. Never lose your smile because this is the heart of lolita.
Always keep your fingertips, the tips of your feet and knees together. Don't relax when you sit down because if you relax when you sit down, your posture will not look beautiful. Do not cross your legs. (It's bad for circulation anyway!) When you are walking keep you back straight and pretend to walk with your hips; this will make you look elegant.
(If you don't live in Japan or similar custom country I'm not sure if this is applicable). You should bow then stop for a split second and make eye contact. Then say, "Ohayou Gozaimasu (Good Morning)", or "Gokigenyou (more formal version of Hello)", and then bow again. Always stop, that is the way of the lolita. When you bow, your head should be at an angle best between 45 degrees and 60 degrees.
Always have a good stock of ribbons, whatever you give, put a ribbon on it. If it is a gift for a special occasion, then you should attach a dried corsage and a small card onto the gift, as this is the lolita way.
The present should be something you put your heart into. An elegant item is something basic that doesn't have to be expensive. Elegant items could even be something small like a handkerchief. The gift may become something that will be important to the receiver. You are a true lolita by giving a gift that could become a TPO.(This has been guessed to mean 'Time Place Occasion','Treasured Personal Object' or 'Token Personal Object'.)
Opera, Orchestra, Ballet, Painting, etc. Aristocrats and lolitas always have a deep passion for the artistic field. Ordinarily, you must train your eye to be come the "Seeing Eye", and we recommend this.
Enjoy chatting time with a cup of herbal tea. If you drink alcohol, please be aware of the following: In Japan, the average teen is not allowed to consume alcohol until he or she is twenty years old. Please make a connection with alcohol to those who are twenty years old and older. Beer is a peasant's drink. The basics are wine and champaign. Aristocrats should especially drink whiskey and brandy (if they drink). Also, you must drink in a smart manner; don't let the alcohol take advantage of you.
