Silent Auction Info

In addition to the regular for-sale items, we decided to ask businesses in our community to donate items to sell in a silent auction. 

How it works: Throughout the day of the sale, there will be items up for auction. Each item will have a specific “start” and “end” time for bidding. Anyone who is interested in an item can make a bid. Whoever has the highest bid at the close of the auction is the winner. We will also have a “Buy It Now” feature on our auctions, so if there is a particular item that you want to ensure you get, you can bid the “Buy It Now” amount and secure that item for yourself!

Here are some of the wonderful items we will have up for auction:

• An Anne Rice novel, autographed and sent to us by the author herself.

• A 4-day weekend houseboating trip on a 59’ Deluxe Houseboat, courtesy of Forever Resorts. (Valid at Lake Mead and Lake Mohave until December ’06, excluding high season from 6/4 thru 9/4. Valued at $1995 or $2895, depending on where the winner wants to go.)

• A weekend in the Presidential Suite of the Double Tree Hotel in Mission Valley w/ brunch for two-valued at approx. $400

• A gift certificate to Cobblestone Cottage Tea Shoppe in Alpine
