The Body, our discussion of the body was many layered. At first we looked at how society views the body, pressures us to confrom the body in ways unnatural. We looked at how caring for our body is a duty, but accepting our changing body is a freedom.
We looked at how carrying a child in our body brings us closer to the expereinces of Mary as she was pregnant and as she mothered our Lord. We had personal expereinces of "being" Mary to other women, who were our "Elizabeth".
We looked at Mass as a meal and the Preist as doing dishes. We had an AHmoment when we realized how physical mass is: the kiss of peace, taking the Body and Blood. The Body and Blood. God must be very physical!
We examined how God is made present in us and our bodies. How God is us and how we are part of God.
