We are a local chapter of the International MOMS Club--MOMS Offering Moms Support. The International MOMS Club is a national non-profit, non-denominational organization with more than 2,000 chapters and over 100,000 MOM members! Previously many of our members belonged to the Springfield Area, chapter which grew to over 45+ members and covered a large territority of Western Massachusetts. In February 2005 we started this sister chapter which allows us to demographically meet the needs of the moms and children. Many moms find us because they are looking for a playgroup for their youngsters, but MOMS Club has so much more to offer. More than anything, it is a club for the moms themselves and member involvement is crucial. Each chapter is run by its own membership of stay-at-home-moms with a five member Executive Board. All members are encouraged to participate and get involved in order to get the most from the club, and to help make the club the best it can be. Our chapter is open to at-home mothers in the towns of West Springfield, Agawam, Westfield and Southwick areas of Hampden County, MA, including those who work from home or work part time.
