Welcome to the MOMS Club_® of Dahlonega, Georgia

Welcome to the MOMS Club_® of Dahlonega! We are a support group for stay-at-home moms, serving Lumpkin County, Georgia. Our members come from many different backgrounds, providing learning and growth through our continued relationships with each other.

Our focus is providing stay-at-home moms the opportunity to make new friends for themselves and their children. Our activities are geared toward making this as easy as possible by being easily accessible and low-cost. Most of us are single income families, and are aware of the financial impact this can have. That is why our yearly dues, used to pay administrative costs, are only $20.00.

Our Mission

In 1983, an at home mother from California, wanted to meet other stay-at-home mothers. She could not find an organization that met the unique needs of stay-at home moms, so she started the first MOMS Club_®.

She wanted to provide a support system that met the special needs of stay-at-home moms. Those needs have not changed as the MOMS Club has grown to over 1500 chapters and 75,000 members nationwide.

We strive to provide you, the stay-at-home mom, with:

• An opportunity to meet others in similar situations.
• A variety of activities to meet our members needs.
• Recognition that activities be low-cost.
• Safe environments for your children to play.
• An opportunity to help others in your community.
• A support system.
• Learning and growth through speakers and seminars.
• FUN!

History of MOMS Club of Dahlonega, Georgia

The Dahlonega MOMS Club had its first meeting September 4, 2002. It was started by Stephanie D. and Amanda S.

Stephanie had been a member of the Alpharetta-East chapter of the MOMS Club, and really missed the companionship and support of her club mates. Amanda had been a member of the Dawsonville MOMS Club, but lived in Lumpkin County. So, they decided to form the Dahlonega MOMS Club, serving all of Lumpkin County.

Our club is still young, but is growing steadily.
