Membership Dues:
Dues are $25.00 a year, which covers the cost of materials, photocopies, and other administrative expenses. We realize that being a stay-at-home mom often means making financial sacrifices. If you find the annual dues are not managable, you are encouraged to talk to a board member.
About Our Club
Our Goals:
MOMS Club Principles:
-Women must be free to choose their personal path to fulfillment -For women who choose it, raising their children is an important and fulfilling job -A family's decision for a mother to stay at home to raise their children often involves considerable financial sacrifice -There is no one right way to raise children, but our members have a common concern in raising their children in a healthful way
Our club holds a general meeting once a month, where we plan fun get-togethers, such as park days, trips to the zoo, strawberry picking, bowling, swimming and other seasonal activities, or have a speaker or discussion topic. We also plan fun get-togethers each month, such as park days, trips to the zoo, strawberry picking, bowling, swimming and other seasonal activities. We make these plans for the daytime, when moms and children need the activity most. Visitors may attend two meetings before deciding to become a member. We encourage all moms to check us out and see what we are all about. You do not have to bring your children with you, but children of all ages are welcome at everything we do. Moms are responsible for their child's safety and behavior at all MOMS Club of Northville, Michigan functions. Our meeting location is centrally located in our community in a child-friendly environment. We provide a separate playroom for the children with toys and books. We sometimes have members volunteer to watch the older children during the meeting. Full-time or part-time stay-at-home moms with children of any age are welcome, even after they enter school. We know you still need support as your children grow!
-To provide a support group for mothers who choose to stay at home, full-time or part-time, to raise their children -To provide a forum for topics of interest to mothers -To help children in the community -To perform at least one service project yearly helping needy children
