MOMS Club of Norman-West, Oklahoma, is a support group for moms with young children living on the WEST side of Norman, OK (west of FLOOD STREET). Who we are:

"Stay-at-home" moms, working moms, first-time pregnant/adopting moms, moms with kids in school, moms who grew up in Norman, moms who are new to town, military moms--we have a little of everything!

Along with providing moms with support and a social network, we take part in many public service projects every year. Norman families love Touch a Truck Day, our annual fundraiser for the children’s section of the Norman Public Library that we organize, with the assistance of the east Norman chapters.

How to Find Us:

Come to our monthly meeting, every first Monday of the month at the Norman Public Library. We are usually in one of the meeting rooms off the lobby. Email us for more information.

What We Do:

Playgroups for all ages--babies, preschoolers, and an after-school group. We meet in member’s homes, parks, or indoor play areas.

Activities. We have been to the zoo and to Incredible Pizza, ridden to Pauls Valley on the TRAIN and seen the Action Figure museum, visited our firefighters, been to a pumpkin patch, sung for senior citizens, and done many, many more fun things as a group!

Service Projects. Current projects include Foster Child Birthday Sponsors, Christmas Adopt-a-Family, activities with Anchor Assisted Living, and our major fundraiser, Touch a Truck Day!

MOMS Only Activities: Monthly Moms Night, our yearly overnight retreat; Kaffee Klatch; and Book Babes give a chance to complete a sentence and enjoy adult food and drink (no mac n’ cheese allowed!)
