| Frequently asked questions: When do you meet? Most of our events are held during the day when moms are home alone with their children and need the support and companionship of other moms. Who is eligible to join? Anyone who lives in zip codes 08057, 08077, 08075, 08065 and is at home during any part of the day whether children are in school or not is eligible to join. If you do not reside in these areas please visit the International MOMS club website at www.momsclub.org to locate a chapter in your area. How much does it cost to join? Our yearly dues are $25.00 and this includes one complimentary t-shirt. Dues are also used for copying, advertising, office supplies, craft supplies, party decorations, dues to International, etc. How do I join? The easiest way to join is to attend one of our monthly business meetings, where you can meet the members, get an information packet and get any other questions answered. If you are not able to attend a meeting you may email our Membership Vice President with your name, address and phone number and she can add you to our email list. Thus you will receive notices of our other events that you may attend. Can I bring my children? Certainly! Children are always welcome at MOMS Club events with the exception of Mom's Night Out and nursing infants are always welcome.. The purpose of the group is support for the moms but since the children are there we focus our activities on things that the children will be interested in too. What opportunities will MOMS club provide me? Our organization is run entirely by volunteers. We have a board consisting of a President, Administrative VP, Membership VP, Secretary and Treasurer and committee chairpeople. Every member is expected to host at least one event per year and consider running for an office. |
