MOMS Club� is an international, non-denominational, not-for-profit organization (501(c)(3)).� It is a network of 2,000 chapters and more than 100,000 members in 7 countries.�It was founded in 1983 when an at-home mother decided she was tired of being alone.� She wanted to meet other at-home mothers and find other at-home children for her children to play with.� When she discovered there were no organizations that met during the day and allowed her to attend with her baby and preschooler, she decided to start a new organization; the MOMS Club was born.�
Local Chapter
The MOMS Club� of Media was started in 2005 and during that time we have helped the community by donating school supplies to local charities, participated in Operation Warm, collected books to rebuild libraries in New Orleans, sent care packages to troops overseas.
