| We hope you'll take a minute to check out our group. Our chapter is very open to new members. In fact, you probably won't be the only new person there. Although some of us have lived here for years and are experienced moms, many of us are new to the area or new to motherhood. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||

| You don't need to be a full-time stay-at-home mom to join. Many of our members work part-time or have home-based businesses. Prospective new members may only attend two business meetings before deciding to join. We encourage you to do so. This will give you the chance to meet the other moms and get an idea of what our group is all about. |

| Most of our activities are free. However, we do have a yearly $20.00 membership charge which covers administrative costs and certain functions. We understand that being a stay-at-home mom means a tight family budget. If you would like to join our group, but the dues would be a hardship on your family please speak with one of our Board Members. No mother is turned away because of an inability to pay dues. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Participation: | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
| It is up to you to decide what level of participation works best for you and your family. Some members are very active, serving on the board or volunteering as coordinators. Others just like to attend a few events a month. There are no participation requirements in our chapter. You are welcome to raise or lower your participation depending on your needs and the needs of your family. |
