MOMS Club takes pride in supporting local charities in addition to the Mother-to-Mother Fund�. This is a special charitable fund organized by the International MOMS Club and supported by local chapters. It was started after the 1994 Northridge/Simi Valley earthquake to help MOMS Club mothers suffering from natural disasters. The next year it was expanded to also help MOMS Club members experiencing devastating personal emergencies and disasters. Thousands of dollars were distributed to those MOMS Club members who lost their husbands in the September 11th tragedy.
The MOMS Club of Austin-South, Texas sistered from the Southwest chapter and held our first meeting on May 6, 2002. We had 13 members in attendance and 16 children at our first meeting. We have grown and currently have 42 members. We have many monthly activities for moms and their children.
