| Principals The principles of this support group are: a) That women must be free to choose their personal path to fulfillment; b) That, for women who choose it, raising children is an important and fulfilling full-time job; c) That a family's decision for a mother to stay at home to raise the children often involves considerable financial sacrifice; d) That there is no one right way to raise children, but that a major reason for the members to come together is their desire to seek out mothers with a common concern for raising their children in the best possible and most healthful way; e) That children are a community's greatest resource, and that a community's concern for its children is marked by the quality of its schools. |
| ACTIVITIES: Our group plans many monthly activities for you and your children to enjoy together. In the summer, we like to meet in area parks for playtime and picnics. In cooler or rainy weather, we like to meet at area playland restaurants for lunch while the kids play. Sometimes we do something special, like visit a museum or the zoo. We also have playgroups that meet regularly to allow the moms to chat while the children play together. MEETINGS: Our monthly business meeting is held the first Wednesday of each month. Email us for time and place. TWO CHAPTERS IN FORT WAYNE: There are 2 chapters in Fort Wayne - MOMS Club of West Fort Wayne and MOMS Club of East Fort Wayne.
