-1 1/2 cup sugar
-2 eggs
-2 3/4 cup flour
-2 teaspoons cream of tartar
-1 teaspoon soda
-1/2 teaspoon salt
-5 oz. (1/2 bag) Hershey's cinnamon chips
Topping ingredients:
-1/2 cup sugar
-1 tablespoon cinnamon
Cream butter and sugar; add eggs to mixture. In separate bowl, mix together flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt. Add dry ingredients to egg mixture a little at a time. Stir in cinnamon chips. Refrigerate utnil chilled.
In the mean time, mix topping ingredients until well blended. When cookie dough has chilled, roll into small balls and cover with cinnamon-sugar mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes on lightly sprayed cookie sheet.
*Cinnamon chips seem to be a seasonal item at some stores, although they have a permanent place on the shelf at Super Wal-Mart in Ft. Wright.
