Other Favorite things to swap

Every swapping group has it's favorites, but some of the things I've seen on a lot of groups are: stickers, stationary, bookmarks, postcards (both blank, and with a note written to the recipient), dish towels, toiletries, and candy.

If you are swapping stickers, the list owner will usually specify if the swap is for sheets of stickers or individual stickers. Most groups ask that you don't send reward (the little sticers that teachers give to kids) or very tiny stickers. You may also be asked not to send religious or holiday stickers. Especially after the holiday has just passed.

Always get new items, not used, unless specified otherwise and make sure to buy what you would like to receive yourself. If there is a dollar amount specified, try to go by it. (it can be embarrassing to buy something for someone under $5.00 and have that person buy something for you that is quite expensive)

Most groups will take into account if you wish to post only in the country you live in order to save on postal expenses. Also try to be understanding on the time that an overseas package takes to arrive. Some people simply can't afford to use air mail and so have to send it the longer way.
