PATRICK
You were so brave and strong.
Your whole illness and death is so wrong.
You should have had so much more life to live.
My life in your place I would gladly give.

You were so fun to watch while you grew and learned.
You lit up my life from dawn till dusk.
You touched so many lives in so few years.
So many people miss your smiling face.

I admire your bravery and love through so many things.
From anescesia, finger pokes, arm and leg pokes, port pokes, waking up at 5:30 or 6 am, throwing up, losing your hair, you never stopped giving your love.

I am so glad I am your Mom, although I miss you Dearly.
I look forward to the day I'll see you once again and get to hold you and pour my love on you again.
