Satin dreams of you
Allow me to fall
Asleep at night
Silvery fingertips from
A lunar messenger
Reach through my window
And touch my forehead
In a soft melody
I sigh and say
Goodnight to you
As if you were really here
I wrap myself up
In memories and they
Keep me warm through
The mourning winds of winter

Today I smiled, and all at once things didn't look so bad.
Today I shared with someone else, a little bit of hope I had.
Today I sang a little song, and felt my heart grow light,
And walked a happy little mile, with not a cloud in sight.
Today I worked with what I had, and longed for nothing more.
And what had seemed like only weeds, were flowers at my door.
Today I loved a little more; complained a little less.
And in the giving of myself, forgot my weariness.

Wishes of a Lover
As I look out at the majestic sea,
I know you and I were meant to be.
I only wish I could make you see
how much your love means to me.
I wish I could walk up to you
and speak the words that lovers do.
But now I sit here sad and blue
wishing that I could be with you.

Dreams
Sitting, waiting, somewhere deep inside the human heart
There lies a plea, a slient prayer, a dream
Changing ones mortality
The dream, the prayer, surrounded with hope
Yet it screams with pain
Leaving a memory, a small vestige
A dream, a destination, something of fear
Tiny crevices decending to hope
Judgement decides whether it will come true
Dreams are for me and you.

I wake to the warmth of the sunshine,
The fingers of light touch my face,
The warmth of your body beside me,
And visions of last night's embrace.
I watch you as you lay there sleeping,
So helpless and peaceful and still.
I reach out and touch your sweet body,
Just to make sure this is real.
We meet in our dreams every evening,
And soar through the heavens above,
Touching the stars that surround us,
I've never known this kind of love.
You waken and reach out to hold me,
I melt in the warmth of your touch,
We take flight as our passion rises,
I cry: "I love you so much!!"
Never again in this life time,
Will there be a love quite this great!!
No two other people on this earth,
Will be quite so blessed by the fates!!
