We met soon but without hesitation.
God had plans and needed your help

Your presence was a bit of a surprise,
But at no point were we scared.
We went to doctor after doctor,
And had test after test.
Our burden was that horrible discovery,
But we continued to feel blessed.
Never before have I felt a sense of worry
Our hands were tied but we never gave up.
Time was our friend, turned enemy,
All our hopes to save you were never enough.
You are our "Jordan" a boy always remembered
There's nothing that'll change our love.
You have a family on earth and in heaven
Jordan sent to heaven on the wing of a dove.
I know you are safe in heaven,
No more pain at all just peace and joy.
