I know today you wanted to be planning a party for me,
your sweet little boy,
but instead are trying to get through the pain you feel.
I know today you should be helping your son,
whose smile would radiate the room, open his presents,
but instead you are trying to help your heart heal.
I know today you should be showering your little man with presents,
hugs, and kisses,
but instead are showered with tears on your lonely face.
I know today you long to hold me ever so close,
but instead will feel my arms full of love wrapped around you,
my warm and cozy hugs,
and my gentle, wet kisses sent special delivery,
reminding you I know how much you love and miss me.

Flying along from cloud to cloud
Our sweet little man shall smile so proud!
For today is his birthday, his very first one
This day will surely be so much fun!
His family, on earth, miss him so much
All longing for the day we feel his touch.
Being apart on this day is hard for us all
What a big difference made from someone so small.
Eating cake with all of his friends
We all feel the special love Jordan sends
He opens his presents and plays all day long
with all of his angel friends playing along.
Watching his family from up above
sending hugs and kisses and lots of love
Although very happy he sheds one tear
For the family he's missed throughout the year.
