After meeting Josh, we thought all of the rest of the lines were closed. We collected our raffle prizes and I was sitting (resting, boy did standing in those lines get to me) right outside of the room with Junior, Jaime, Brooke, Tad, and Eliot. As my cousin came over to scoop me up to leave, they opened up the doors to let a few more fans in. So we ran over to get in line. As we entered the doors, the actors playing Junior and Jaime were getting ready to leave but asked if anyone who had just come in wanted a picture before they left. So of course I said Yes!! What a couple of cuties. They were just adorable!! I told Junior about how wonderful I thought he had been doing and to keep up the great performances.
Next we moved onto Julia Barr. She was even more beautiful in person also. She had these gorgeous eyes that I would just die for. She was also very gracious and sweet with each fan she talked to. She was also happy to announce she now had a web site www.juliarosebarr.com.
Now at this point it hit me I was going to meet TAD!!! I became more nervous than I have ever been to meet someone.
As we waited in line, I kept thinking what the hell am I even going to say to him. I was so in love with him in the 80's and here I was going to meet him. My cousin went up to meet him first. I was taking her pic and had No clue what she was saying to him, and I rudely, excitedly blurted out "I love your jacket" (B&W checkerboard LOL)
He said Thank you! I was laughing so hard from being stupid and nervous I said, 'please don't make me laugh or I will burst my stitches.' He then asked me 'well what is wrong honey' stepping back with a look of concern. I said 'well i had surgery about 2 weeks ago but somehow I made it here' He asked me what my surgery was for and I told him about Crohn's and my bowel resections. GOD why!!?? I meet the man and I am talking about my bowels!? Anyway he then posed for pictures with me, giving the hugest bear hugs, and he was kidding around the whole time. He then turned and whispered in my ears, 'OK now this is for a little picture for a heart frame for a key chain or something' and proceeded to give me these 4 or 5 huge kisses on my cheek. Of course they were NOT captured on pictures DAMN! As I walked away I was shaking and I think I walked on air for another 12 hours or so. NOW i understood why Noel was so shaken. To be *kissed* by a soap legend tops my list of star encounters.
