| Benjamin was born at home, in a pool of warm water. Those present were: Mom (naturally) & Dad, the girls, Patricia with Cailean, Amber, June (camera person), Fran & Dermot Grove-White, midwife Jennifer Murdoch, senior midwife, student midwife, and a nurse from East General Hospital (for observation only). | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Benjamin weighed 9 lbs at birth and was about 22" long. He was born at 2:38 pm, after about 14 hours of labour. I was very grateful for the warmth of the water. It was sooo relaxing. Even though this was my longest and most intense labour, it was an amazing experience to give birth at home surrounded by family and friends. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
