| A PRAYER OF PRAISE |
![]() |
| Sometimes I lie in bed at night, and pray a prayer of praise; Adoring the one and only, true and holy, faithful Lord. I worship him, the Lord my God, the ancient of all days; From within the depths of my heart, flow out the words of praise. I can feel the warmth of his sweet love, as I am lying there; And there's nothing like the peace that comes, with the presence of the Lord. I find that as I lift him up, I lift up all my cares; And the perfect love of my sweet Lord, casts out all my fears. Sometimes this love... Oh Lord... that fills my heart and soul; I can feel it, as it flows to reach thy throne; And I am overwhelmed, at thy precious presence, Lord; It is sweet, yes sweeter, than anything I've ever known.
