Wesley's sword slashed through the air, the imaginary demon losing its head in the face of his virile power. His time in Sunnydale had been an abject failure, so the time had come to set out on his own and prove himself a man.

His grip on the hilt slipped, and the metal of the sword clanged loudly on the tile floor. He checked the blade for nicks and polished it on his sleeve before brandishing it once more with a gleam in his eye.
