Mistakes

 

"So you didn't kill Anya?" Willow asked.

 

"I did, but she didn't die. It's that whole Vengeance Demon thing." Buffy put down her sword.

 

"Is Xander with her?"

 

"I don't know, they both left. Not really a good day."

 

"It never is when you have to skewer a friend."

 

"Speaking of which," Buffy studied Willow, "what was all that business about kicking Angel's ass?"

 

"I never said that."

 

"I know."

 

"That ticks me off. How could he...?"

 

Buffy shook her head. "We all make mistakes."

 

"Mistakes suck."

 

"Yeah."

 

"Especially mine."

 

"Double yeah.”

 

“Let’s go find him.”
