He should have known that Buffy's affections
would drift toward something younger, sleeker and without all the baggage he
carried. He wanted her to move on from her schoolgirl fantasies into something
more real, but it hurt to see them together.
The slayer couldn't keep her hands off the new
one, constantly caressing the shiny hair and allowing it to sleep in her bed,
pressed against her. The very same bed that he'd once shared with her.
She even had a cute nickname for it, cuter than
his even. Mr. Gordo, move over. You've been replaced by Miss Kitty Fantastico.
