| WHAT WE CAN OFFER * A loving and caring home for our shelter cats for life. Or until such time they get adopted to another loving home. * In-home pet sitting service for a nominal fee. This helps us to cover the costs of feeding and caring for the cats at our shelter. * Our "Pets for Health Program" for elderly, dying, or critically ill animal guardians. This program is based on Isaiah 61. We offer services such as providing pet food when needed, cleaning litter boxes, walking dogs, or taking an animal companion to vet appointments. This is a FREE service with a physician-validated statement of need. * Distribution of extra pet food to needy or disabled animal guardians. You may make pet food donations strictly for this purpose. |

| THE MOMMA CAT is a Texas state-licensed, non-profit, cageless, no-kill cat shelter in operation since 2000. We want to help people who are unable to care for their cats because of physical limitations or disabilities (physician validated), and/or upon the death of a cat's caretaker who has no suitable family or friends to care for or adopt their cat. We are totally dedicated to caretakers who cherish their cats, but they have no other choice than to seek another home for their furry companion while they are disabled. We can no longer accept any stray cats. Every cat who comes into THE MOMMA CAT shelter has a home here for life, or until they are adopted. THE MOMMA CAT shelter firmly believes that every cat brought to us has the right to life, not euthanasia, for illness, disease, old age, or abnormality. We will not abort any kittens that come to us with pregnant female cats. We use prayer for every cat admitted to the great physician, God, that He will help us to continue our successful treatment of cats with FIV, FeLV, cancer, diabetes, liver and kidney disease, paraplegia, loss of eyes or limbs, prolapsed intestines, and other illnesses and conditions. THE MOMMA CAT shelter's operation is focused on biblical law. As a privately-owned shelter, 10% of every donation was tithed to ministry based on the belief that God is the provision of the shelter, and the promise of Malachi 3:8-12. As we make the progression to 501 (c)3 non-profit status, the state will ask us to modify tithing to come from personal income only. The owner will continue to tithe from her own income, believing God's word will not return void. We may be a poor Momma Cat now, but someday our harvest will come in, and we will give God the glory. Please come visit THE MOMMA CAT shelter soon! We would love to answer any questions you may have, and all of our beautiful cats would love to meet you and possibly become a loving member of your family. |
