Dustin and I fell in love when he was a freshman in highschool. We spent 3 yrs apart after high school. We met one day for coffee and knew at first sight that we belonged together. August 29th, 1998 we were married in a double ceremony with my brother, Jason, and his wife, Lindsay, in St. Paul Congregation UCC by Katherine Mulhern. Unlike most marriages, where the women takes the man's last name... Dustin took my last name.
We had two children. Our first, Matthew Lee Harper was stillborn in 1993. Christian Jerold Harper, aka CJ, was born April 24th, 1999 and was only two when his daddy died.
Dustin was my high school sweetheart, my husband, my lover, the father of my children, my soul-mate.

Likes: Music-- R&B, 40's, 50's, early 60's, jazz, big banc, baroque classical, alternative rock. Basically anything except new country and rap. Literature-- Anne Rice, Stephen King, most philosophy, poetic works, horror, crime fiction. Hobbies--antique restoration, drawing, writing poetry, short fiction, genealogy, listening to music, reading, bicycling.
Dislikes: cats, disco, sitcoms, people who don't use proper english (generally), japanese cars, sweating, being broke, people who have no sense of humor, country music, rap, being told I have to do something, cheap cigars, diet Pepsi, conservative christians (religious right)
Strengths: intelligence, hardworking, imaginative, artistic, compassionate, attractive, I have good taste (in my opinion), eloquent, attentive to detail, dependable, honest, loyal, helpful, and organized.
Weaknesses: intellectualizing, compulsive-impulsiveness, codependency, emotionally over vulnerable, apathetic, can be vain, I try to impose my tastes on everyone else, distrustful, obsessive, sometimes no so punctual, shy, almost paranoid at times, perfectionist.
