In December of 1998, at the age of 4, Colton was diagnosed with A.L.L. (acute lymphocytic leukemia). It is considered to be the easiest to treat of all the childhood cancers - thank heavens for us - but it's been a long road with a long way yet to travel! It has been rough on all of us - myself (his mom), his dad, and his little sister. Not to mention his aunts, uncles and grandparents! You never realise how much people's lives change when they are faced with a crisis, until it happens to you! We have survived, with a few bumps along the way, so I dedicate this site to my son Colton and everyone out there who has overcome incredible odds to win their personal battles!

Colton's wish was a huge success - thanks to the Make-a-Wish Foundation here in the Texas panhandle! He met his buddy Tigger (of Winnie-the-Pooh fame) our first day in Orlando at Disney World ! We stayed at Give Kids the World Village. I encourage you to donate to these fine organizations - for the sake of kids like Colton! Now we have the photos to prove it!!

Thanks to Tish Hutcherson for helping me find "Desparado"!
UPDATE: COLTON IS IN REMISSION! It has been a little over a year since he last had chemo and about 4 years since he was diagnosed! He is now 8 years old and is in second grade! We still see the oncologist once every three months, a far cry from going three days a week!!! We wish to thank everyone at the Texas Tech Medical Group for all their support!
Thanks to everyone who has been there along the way! A special THANK YOU to Brenda Chandler, Colton's chemo nurse for the last 4 years!
Colton then and now! Just scoll over the picture to see him now!
