Your pet's diet is very important in maintaining its overall health. My cats are fed a natural, raw diet and I would do the same for dogs, and ferrets. You will find some links to raw diets below. For those of you not ready to switch to raw, please note that the majority of the commercial/processed foods listed are ones that are considered to be holistic. These foods have meat as the first ingredient rather than byproduct or meal. IE "chicken" rather "chicken byproduct" or "chicken meal". Yes, these foods are quite a bit pricier than junk like Iams and Science Diet, but you will more than make up for it in vet bills.
