My Baby Boy

These pictures are of matthew who was born December 6, 2002. He was born weighing 4 pounds 1 ounce and 18 1/2 inches long. He is now 19 months old and weighs a whooping 23 pounds and 2 ounces and is 30 1/4 inches long. He loves to be held close and loves to play in the bathtub. He has a HUGE attitude which I dont approve of..but it is really funny to watch!! His favorite food right now is macaroni and cheese and grapes. His favorite song is 'Jesus Loves Me' and 'Twinkle Twinkle Little Star' He can do about 10 body parts when he feels like it. lol.. He knows what the potty is and will sit on it WITH his diaper still on, but not with the diaper off. He LOVES to eat! He knows where the trash can is and loves to throw things away. He is a VERY smart boy for his age..but of course im biased! He is a really sweet baby when he wants to be! He is the joy of my life and why I am here today :)

Today I will hold my baby's hand
And take time to explore.
The secrets of a baby's world

While you Were Sleeping

While you were sleeping,
I sat on your bed.
I watched you,
As you smiled through your dreams.
I traced your perfect shell ear,
Touched every curl, on your little head.
I tried to sleep,
but the sound of your breathing
Drew me back to your room.
I couldn't resist the magic which tugged
At my heartstrings
and brought me back to your side.
I settled on the floor, once again.
Back against the wall,
Holding your tiny hand in mine.
While you were sleeping
I fell in love with you all over again.
