to make dress use bodice pieces from swirl dress on page 4--serge and assemble bodice & sleeve according to directions on that page--this sleeve is gathered--skirt piece is 10"by 45" rectangle--serge both long edges before gathering or hemming--gather one edge to length of bodice bottom & sew


for bonnet--use iron on interface to one brim piece--then sew rounded edges of brim tog.--turn & top stitch--serge unfinished long edge--on main bonnet piece--after serging outer edges, turn bottom 1/4" & stretch & zigzag 1/4" elastic across(5" long)--gather long rounded edge to fit straight edge of bonnet brim & sew--turn & add 9" pieces of ribbon to corners of brim
