Mike and I met 10 years ago, through a very good friend. We met the night Mike returned to the United States after a 16 month tour in Korea, with the United States Army. My intentions were to set Mike up with one of my girlfriends.....

Mike and I began officially dating in September of 1990. In January of 1991, Mike was recalled, from Inactive Ready Reserves, to serve in Desert Storm. This was one of the most difficult times of our relationship. It was still a new relationship and to add this was a great trial. We were determined that if we could make it through this, we could make it through anything....

We will celebrate our ninth wedding anniversary on November 23, 2000. We have been through so much in the past 10 years from Desert Storm to David's Heart. No matter how hard things have been for us and our family, our love remains. I love you with all my heart Mike!
