BREVE  DESCRIÇÃO  DO  PROJETO

 

O projeto visa possibilitar aos estudantes de todos os países, a possibilidade de compartilhar os costumes, trajes, danças e manifestações do nosso folclore nacional  com outros estudantes e professores  do mundo, promovendo sua arte e tradições.

 

Os estudantes enviarão fotos destas manifestações, costumes, trajes populares de seus países com uma  descrição breve e informações sobre seu uso e ocasiões. As fotos podem ser enviadas por e-mail. Projeto Internacional IEARN.

 Students are invited to send pictures about folk costumes in their countries,

 describe them and eventually write a few lines about different

 occasions people wear them.

 

3) Full description of project:


The project is meant to give the students from as many countries as possible, a chance to share their folk/national costumes with other students and teachers in the world, to promote their folk art and traditions.

 

The students will send pictures of folk costumes from their countries, with a short description of them and give information about the occasions people use/used to wear them.

The pictures can be sent by email, as attachements, or by snail mail to:

Students will get information about traditional folk costumes, a topic less studied today in schools, and still important for the students' general culture, will share information about their traditions and
civilisation, will become more aware about their roots and ancestors.

Let me invite you to see a project that was supposed to join us around a subject that has its roots far too remote in time. Look around yourselves and see that fashion is a continually changing topic.But when have people started to think how they looked like ? Where should we look for the ancestors of the so varied clothes we wear today ? Where have some of the greatest world's designers found a source of inspiration for the clothes they made for countless times ?

You have certainly guessed ! The origin of the way we dress ourselves today must be looked for in the inestimable value and beauty of our old folk costumes, which certainly lacked kitsch and
expressed all the purity and sensitivity of the human soul and the print of nature expressed by the interference of colours with their symbols.

 

I think that we all belong to an ancient culture with certain beliefs and traditions. Where else if not in our old national folk costumes could we find the materialization of some relics of this universal culture? Let's go back in time for a while and have a look at  what our ancestors used to wear!
